This started out as a simple eye doodle, then grew into a horrific-looking corpse head. Again, I tried to emulate Stephen Gammell's style to really get the horror element out of this picture.

Kinda reminds me of the concept art for the first S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
Very eerie looking.

Wow, very creepy and very well done.
Do you have a link to any of Stephen Gammell's work? From what I see here I'd like to have a look.
:)
Keep it up!

His art is hard to find online because it belongs to a trilogy of children's books titled "Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark" written by Alvin Schwartz. The book isn't expensive, actually you can buy all three in one giant book for pretty cheap. It'll give you nightmares for years.

Here's a link to it on Amazon.com

:( I hate it when that happens.
I had a look -- you've done a very good job of emulating his work!
That name sounds very familiar -- was it turned into a television program or something?
Thank you!

I don't think so, but man that would be wicked awesome if it were animated in that same art style.

hm, youre very good at capturing Gammell's style, but, as i recall, his had a very drained, and bleeding quality about it...like a book left in the rain
still though
friggin awesome
